6th Annual Simcar.Info 300 Mile Indianapolis Open Wheel Race May 29th. Tuesday Nights Winston Cup Museum SimRoc Series Wednesday Nights Winston Cup Museum Series
The SimROC Winter Series with fixed setup on Tuesday Nights.
and/or
Wednesday night's Winter Cup Series with open setup and realistic weather.
Both series are open to all members.
This is a 6 races series starting December 14th through February 9th, your best 5 out of 6 races will count.
The SimROC Series runs fixed setup, constant weather (70 degrees, clear and no wind) and drivers can use driving aids, although not recommended. Races are 30% length, race details below. The SimROC series will race on Tuesday nights.
The Cup Series runs open setup with realistic weather on Wednesday nights. Races are 35% length, details below. The Cup Series runs on Wednesday nights.
The server will be started at about 6:00 PM Pacific time both nights, Qualifying at 6:30 PM the race follows a 5 minute Happy Hour on Tuesdays and 10 minute Happy Hour on Wednesday.
SimROC races: Tuesdays (see Calendar), Qualifying at 6:30pm Pacific Time 30% Length 2x Pit Frequency Fixed Fast setup Moderate Damage Cautions on (Cautions will be off at road courses and short tracks) Weather clear 70, no wind No Forced View Driving Aids may be used
Cup Races: Wednesdays (see Calendar), Qualifying at 6:30pm Pacific Time 35% Length 2x Pit Frequency Open setup Moderate Damage Cautions on (Cautions will be off at road courses and short tracks) Weather Realistic No Forced View No Driving Aids may be used
We will use the NASCAR point system. Your 5 best out of the 6 races will be scored.
Rules for this series: In addition to the basic Simcar.Info rules, we will use the same rules used this summer that can be found here. Where different the rules for this series will prevail. We may limit the number of participants to this series, at Simcar.Info's discretion.
If you would like to reserve a spot and your car number send an email with the event(s) you would like to run in and your car number. Car numbers are first come first serve. Drivers currently running will be given priority. If you have participated in one of the last 3 Chase races you will be automatically included, if not sure send an email.
The review committee may use any combination of event rules and the Simcar.Info rules to penalize a driver for overaggressive driving or unsportsmanlike conduct.
This series is free for all members.

The 6th Annual Simcar.Info 300 Mile Indianapolis Open Wheel Race May 29th.
All participants must sign up for this event and attend at least one practice race before the event.
Please do not sign up for this event unless you can attend at least one practice race and the May 29th event.
We will be using the Simcar Open Wheel mod. This mod is based on the Cup physics and allows for more realistic speeds at Indy. You will receive all that you need by email after you sign-up.
We are shooting for a field of 15 or more cars.
To Run the Indy 300 you will need to download and install the Simcar OW Mod. I will send you a link to the file after you sign-up. The down load will include the track and most of our cars.
The main event will be held Saturday May 29th, 2010. The server will be started for practice at 11:30 am Pacific time. Qualifying at 12:45 pm Pacific time with a 10 minute Happy Hour.
Practice races will be held on various days in May, others may be added as needed. Check the Practice Schedule for days and times for that week. You can check the Calendar for all practice race dates.
The race will be:
120 Laps - 300 Miles Fixed Fast setup Moderate damage Hard core - no driving aids allowed, you may use any driving view. Cautions on Weather clear and 45
There will be no bonus points for leading a lap or leading the most laps in this race.
Simcar.Info rules will apply. Event specific rules may be added if needed. Any changes will be included in the drivers meeting email sent before the event.
Winston Cup Museum SimRoc Series
This Series will be run in three segments. The first segment will be 10 races starting February 17th thru May 5th. The second segment will be 10 races from May 12th thru August 11th. The last 10 race segment is the Winston Cup Museum SimRoc Chase Series. This Series runs fixed setup, constant weather (70 degrees, clear and no wind) and drivers can use driving aids, although not recommended.
This series will race on Tuesday nights; the server will be started at about 6:00 PM Pacific time, Qualifying at 6:30 PM the race follows a 10 minutes Happy Hour.
This series is open to all members.
